Terms of Service

Effective 7 August 2026 · Applies to the Qlofi iOS app and qlofi.com

The short version

1. Who we are, and agreeing to these terms

Qlofi (“we”, “us”) is a personal colour-and-style service: the Qlofi app for iPhone and the website qlofi.com. Qlofi is currently operated by its founder as an individual business; when that changes, we will name the legal entity here. By creating an account or using Qlofi, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Questions any time: hello@qlofi.com.

2. What Qlofi is (and isn't)

Qlofi analyses your colouring, derives a personal palette, and composes outfit suggestions from pieces you own and items you can shop — for your personal, non-commercial use.

Qlofi uses artificial intelligence and automated algorithms to analyse photos and generate style recommendations. AI outputs are dynamic and may occasionally contain unexpected, inaccurate, or unusual combinations — if a look ever seems off, it probably is, and you can simply regenerate or swap it.

Style is subjective. Our suggestions are aesthetic guidance, not professional advice, and we don't promise that every look will suit you, fit you, or survive contact with the weather (forecasts come from a third party and are sometimes wrong — that's weather). What we do promise is a genuine, colour-science-based attempt to make getting dressed easier.

3. Early access & beta features

Qlofi is young. Some features are offered as early access or beta — they may change, misbehave, or be removed as we learn. Joining the waitlist or requesting early access doesn't guarantee an invitation; test spots are limited and allocated at our discretion.

4. Your account

  • One account per person, and you must be 16 or older.
  • Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself; what happens under your account is your responsibility.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account) — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what gets erased.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, after warning you where that's reasonable.

5. Your content

Your photos, your wardrobe, your feedback — yours. You keep full ownership of everything you add to Qlofi. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the service for you: processing your images, deriving colours, storing your wardrobe, and composing looks. That licence ends when the content or your account is deleted. We never use your content to advertise to others or sell it to anyone.

Please only upload photos you have the right to use — your own, not someone else's.

6. Shopping links & commissions

Tapping a product opens the retailer's own site. Purchases are entirely between you and the store — pricing, availability, sizing, shipping, returns and product quality are the retailer's responsibility, and their terms apply. Qlofi is not a party to the transaction and doesn't sell you anything.

Affiliate disclosure: Qlofi may earn a commission when you buy through certain retailer links in the app, at no extra cost to you. Commissions never influence your palette or which items suit your colours — the colour matching is maths, not marketing.

7. Fair use

Don't do these things:

  • Scrape, harvest or bulk-download the product catalogue or any part of the service
  • Abuse the analysis endpoints (automated requests, load testing, probing)
  • Reverse-engineer, resell or white-label the service
  • Use Qlofi for anything unlawful, or upload content that infringes someone's rights

8. Intellectual property

The Qlofi app, name, logo, design, palettes and editorial content belong to us — using the app doesn't transfer any of that to you. Product names, images and brands shown in the catalogue belong to their respective owners and appear for shopping reference only; their appearance doesn't imply endorsement of Qlofi (or by it).

If you believe any content on Qlofi infringes your intellectual property rights, notify us at hello@qlofi.com with details of the alleged infringement and we will review and act promptly.

9. Availability, changes & ending things

We work to keep Qlofi available and improving, but we can't promise uninterrupted service — maintenance, outages and app-store review cycles happen. Features may evolve or be retired; if we make a change that materially reduces what you signed up for, we'll tell you in the app first. Qlofi is currently free; if paid features arrive, you'll always see the price and terms before committing to anything.

You can stop using Qlofi and delete your account whenever you like. We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice, in which case these terms end with it.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Qlofi is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect losses — a missed refund at a retailer, an outfit that didn't survive the rain, or decisions made on our style suggestions. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for claims arising out of or relating to Qlofi is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited (including for intent or gross negligence), and nothing here reduces your statutory consumer rights.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also enjoy the mandatory consumer protections of your own country, and you can bring disputes before your local courts or applicable consumer alternative dispute resolution (ADR) bodies in your country.

12. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top; for material changes we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Qlofi after that means you accept the updated terms.
